Cavour 30Tre - Hotel Moderno - Stresa

The view from my balcony was fine, overlooking the charming Old Town. Proximity to the lakeside path was fantastic, just a minute away. The outdoor breakfast area was lovely and spacious. Staff were cute and breakfast options were nice too. Perfect spot for a relaxing getaway ☕

The whole room was clean and had climate control and a balcony. Excellent views, the breakfast was satisfactory with jam, ham, boiled potatoes. The hotel's position was marvellous and fab, just next door to the central excellent restaurants and water ferries, and the church which is standing in front of the Lago Maggiore.

Ask for a cappuccino rather than using the coffee machine for a better morning experience.

We were on the top floor and the shower did not stay at a consistent temperature, fluctuating between warm and cold. The breakfasts were adequate but dull, some fresh fruit and tomatoes would have helped.

The room offered a comfortable bed and decent air-conditioning, with clean arrangements in place. The location is strategic for access to local restaurants and the main ferry pier.

The breakfast selection fell short, with a limited range of options, primarily focused on sweet items and lacking cooked choices or fresh vegetables. The coffee from the machine was quite unsatisfactory, and the corridors appeared worn down, needing some serious upkeep to restore their former glory.

The best thing about the Hotel Moderno was the location, and the staff were very friendly.

The location was ideal for exploring the centre of the town. It had a relaxed atmosphere and the staff where very helpful and friendly.

We stayed at the weekend and were awoken at 8 am by the church bells which were literally across the narrow alley.

The location of the hotel is convenient in the middle of town close to all restaurants, yet quiet. Rooms are clean and simple.

Considering other hotels we stayed in, the value of what you get for your money was not the best. Choices at breakfast a bit scarce.

Located right in the centre of Stresa on a pedestrian street with no traffic. Nice breakfast in an inner courtyard.

Unloading luggage is tricky on a pedestrian street, no parking next to hotel.
